Q: How do I unlock new tokens?

Progress through Adventure mode to unlock free tokens. You can also purchase premium tokens with diamonds from the in-game store.

Q: What are diamonds used for?

Diamonds are in-game currency used to purchase cosmetic tokens. They don't affect gameplay - all tokens are purely visual customization.

Q: How does the AI difficulty work?

Takeover features 10 AI difficulty levels, from beginner (Level 1) to grandmaster (Level 10). Each level uses different strategies - lower levels make more mistakes, while higher levels plan multiple moves ahead.

Q: Can I play offline?

Yes! Takeover works completely offline. Internet is only needed for in-app purchases and iCloud sync.

Q: How do I sync my progress between devices?

Make sure you're signed into iCloud on all your devices. Your game progress, unlocked tokens, and purchases will automatically sync.

Q: What board sizes are available?

Takeover offers multiple board sizes from small (quick 5-10 minute games) to large (strategic 20-30 minute games). Board size affects game length and strategy depth.

Q: Can I undo moves?

There is no undo feature - every move is final! This encourages careful planning and strategic thinking.

Q: How many players can play locally?

Local multiplayer supports 2-4 players on the same device. Players take turns making their moves.

Q: Is there online multiplayer?

Currently, Takeover only supports local multiplayer (pass and play). Online multiplayer may be added in future updates based on player feedback.

Progress not syncing between devices

Make sure:

1. You're signed into the same iCloud account on all devices
2. iCloud Drive is enabled in Settings
3. Takeover has permission to use iCloud (Settings → iCloud → Takeover)
4. You have an active internet connection

It may take a few minutes for changes to sync across devices.

Purchased tokens not appearing

Try these steps:

1. Make sure you have an internet connection
2. Restart the app completely
3. Check Settings → [Your Name] → iTunes & App Store and ensure you're signed in
4. Tap "Restore Purchases" in the store

If the issue persists, contact support with your purchase receipt.

Game freezing or crashing

Please try:

1. Force quit the app and relaunch
2. Restart your device
3. Make sure you have the latest version of Takeover
4. Check for iOS/macOS updates

If crashes continue, contact support with your device model and iOS version.

Lost progress after reinstalling

If you had iCloud sync enabled, your progress should restore automatically when you sign back into iCloud. If not, unfortunately progress stored only locally cannot be recovered.
